Our History
Many technical institutes of this type have been established in the state during the last ten years. But they are not adequate to provide the necessary technology and managerial professionals for making the state the gateway of industries worldwide. Only few such technical institutes of this type presently exist in this district and in view of the large population of the district and of it’s surroundings and also the state’s “demand-supply-gap” give a high potential and also give rise to the need for establishing this type of institute.
Presently there are more than 140 polytechnic institutes are existing in the state and out of them only five institutes are in the district of Birbhum. Thus a great opportunity exists in Suri via a vis Dubrajpur town for spreading technical education. Our place is at the nerve centre of Industrial Establishments such as Bakreswar Thermal Power Plant. A large number of small scale industries also exist within a radius of 20km from our site. We have a dream project in our mind to set up a high quality full fledged technical institute in the field of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and others. We have no doubt that we can provide a Technical Institution of high academic standard at Suri town in the District of Birbhum because we will always be guided and inspired by our key personnel who are engaged in Technical Education for last 25 years.

The Campus
The institute is situated at Sagar, Bandhersole bus stop on NH-60, near Bakreswar Thermal Power Plant and between Suri and Dubrajpur. The well designed green campus spreads over 7.33 Acres of land with beautiful environment.
